Trabajo 2: President Hoover's quotation:
This proyect, voluntary for the rest of the class but obligatory for me, consisted of giving my opinion on this quote by president Hoover of the U.S.A:
"You have taken over the job of creating desire and have transformed people into constantly moving happiness machines, machines which have become the key to economic progress." President Hoover, 1928 to a group of publicists and advertisers.
Trabajo 3: Calvin & Hoobes:
Antonio set us a series of exercises about a Calvin and Hobbes cartoon wich we read. In the cartoon, Calvin say's that he doesn't believe in ethics. He thinks winners write the history books, the ends justify the means... etc Hobbes then pushes him into a puddle and Clavin angrily asks him why he did it. Hobbes responds: "the ends justify the means. You were in my way, now your're not"
Trabajo 4: Cartoon about politics:
Questions about a cartoon strip in wich a man is entering a door marked: "career in politics". Next to this door there is a dustbin marked: "Ethics"
My interpretation was that if you want to pursue a career in politics, you have to leave your ethics behind.
